Your Elgin and St. Thomas Real Estate Ambassador
A Real Estate Professional whose record speaks highly of his dedication and strong sense of community. Born in England, he came to St. Thomas at age five where he was educated and has resided ever since.
Richard's personal commitment to professionalism is evident in the fact that he has involved himself in the London/St. Thomas Association of Realtors serving on the Board of Directors and as President of the Marketing Division, representing 1200 area agents. In addition, Richard has contributed to the Ethics, and Political Action Committees as well as the Industrial/Commercial committee and now sits on the Board of Directors.
Throughout his career, Richard has consistently earned awards of distinction and has always been within the top 5% of agents.
In Richard Haddow you will find someone with extensive energy. Richard holds Membership and Leadership roles in community based projects such as Kettle Creek Conservation Authority, Heart and Stroke Association, Historical Association, Chamber of Commerce, Port Stanley Theatre, Elgin/St. Thomas Home Builders Association, and he has served as President and on Board of Directors of both the St. Thomas United Way, and the Y.M.C.A.
Occasionally, in Real Estate transactions, a knowledge of the process of Municipal Politics is required. Richard has that knowledge, with over 20 years of involvement as a member of County Council, & by serving as Reeve of Yarmouth Township.
A former branch manager for Scotiabank, Helen brings a expertise in financing and negotiations especially helpful to first-time home buyers. Helen is also a very active participant in community-based organizations, and the professional business network, live in St. Thomas.
